Aura                                                OK, Aura #1, finito!  Yes, you see some ends that need to be woven in!  Like the head?  It's my hippy-chic head I found in a thrift store last year.  My friend, Lori, ended up with one like it, in blue colors.  Probably came from the same old person, but we got them on different days.  Cool thing about living amongst the elderly, they get tired of the cool old stuff and it ends up in local thrift stores.  Off to finish the blue Aura!

I started my 2nd Aura in the blue Calmer.  The beginnings of the back of Loll is shown in the beige-y tan color.  The little hang-y down things on Loll remind me of skin tags...kinda gross.  Plus, they take forever to knit.  I was almost finished with the same tan colored Aura, and messed up the decreases TWICE!  Oh well, you learn something new all the time.  I wasn't decreasing IN PATTERN, although it doesn't say to, you are just supposed to know.  Remember, it's an EASY Rowan pattern, so an idiot could do it, RIGHT?  Well, not this idiot!  My guru Joanne got me fixed up and on the right track.  I started the blue one during the decreasing crisis.  I love doing the lacey pattern!  I have learned something disturbing about myself...I am a short- attention -span -knitter.  As I have mentioned before, I buy yarn for many (MANY!) projects, start them, start something else, get bored, try to finish the something else I started, and on and on and on.  I think I need to be on some ADD meds.
