My picture taking abilities are SO NOT good. Maybe it would help to read the manual....This is Oakley from Berroco #225, in Suede. I am about 3/4 of the way through it, I think. Adding the fringe might take quite a while, maybe more time than it took to knit the shawl. I am only on the end of my 3rd ball of Suede and the pattern calls for 6. Seems strange that it will take 3 more balls. (And no, I didn't swatch!) To me, this is totally something that does not require swatching. Unless you are normally super loose, or tight. I am neither ;-0! Aly wanted to be included in the morning post. She has not been feeling well and we don't know what's wrong. She perked up a bit last night, so maybe she is on the road to recovery. Her big ol' fuffy tail has been hanging limp and we think maybe she bruised it or something. It's always a real wagger, but lately it seems to be bothering her. If things don't improve soon, we will have to get her to the vet. Back to knitting. I have not progressed any further on Loll, AKA the skin tag sweater. There are two different socks languishing in the bottom of my knitting bag too. Socks bug me. My Guru says that I need to complete them though. Maybe I should knit a fatter sock like Carrie.
