Knit/Life

It is 105 degrees on my back deck. That's a little warm-ish if you ask me. It is a little overcast, but no rain yet. I am actually doing a little swatch for the Rowan Denim Bomber. I never swatch. I am a naughty knitter! Everything always seems to turn out OK. My guru says that it will not happen someday and I will be sorry for not swatching. Whatever. I love reading the hasenpfeffer's blog, she IS the picture perfect knitter. She swatches and everything! And what a great attitude. I aspire to knit like that!

I did it AGAIN. I started a new project. I am so weak! I was at the LYS (which is not so L) and fell for this. I am using the "Wild Bill Hickcock" color, which is darker brown. Pretty cool stuff to knit with! I also received my new book, and enough yarn to make this, for my daughter. I am using "Memphis" as the color. I am a sick, sick knitter. I did finish the blue Aura...... does that justify my purchases? (NOT!) I am still plugging away on the Calmer Loll sweater, AKA the skin tag sweater. Those little boogers are time consuming and I really have to concentrate when I am knitting each row. Yes, I'm a slooooow knitter. OOOH, have to watch the 48 Hours Mystery. It's a repeat, but it involves the murder of our local Assistant D.A. by a former cop. Oops, I gave away the mystery, but it's a good, watch it! (10:00 p.m. Pacific)
