What a week! No knitting accomplished, at all! Maybe this weekend. We have to go to our cabin in the higher country this weekend. There is only about a week left to clear a defensible space, and this is the only time we will have to do it. I wonder if pine needles are knittable? They do make baskets out of them...hmmmmm.

tufts o'fuff Posted by Hello

Must put a pic of my Aly girl and her fuffytoes. Thankfully, she doesn't eat yarn any more. She gets mad when you leave her alone for any length of time, and usually destroys something. We are now brainwashed into believing that she is more important than the "things" she chews. Couches, shoes, flip flops are a special treat for her, especially my daughter's!

On the knitting front....armhole shaping on the front of the cable raglan. I purchased the pattern for the Chicknits Bottoms Up Bucket Hat, so may cast-on for that soon. With my track record, I will probably finish a summer version in December!

LOVE LOVE LOVE reading certain knitting blogs! They are such an inspiration and push me to keep plodding along and FINISH projects.

Cable Raglan Posted by Hello

I will post a pic of my cable raglan pullover from VK. I started this ages ago. It is the actual yarn called for, imagine that, except in a khaki color. I liked the blue/purple color in the mag, but the khaki was on sale at the time. Cleckheaton Merino Supreme is a really nice, boing-y back into shape, yarn. Make sense? For costing me $3.45 per skein, I love it! Knits REALLY nicely with the Addi-Turbo chargers. Although the turbo rarely kicks in while I am knitting!

I am quite the slow learner with knitting, and rarely take chances like so many other's online. It's exciting to see how many creative people are out there. Very inspiring to us chicken-knitter's! (ME!)

This blog thing is so new to me also. Kind of figured out the posting of pictures, barely anyway. Do not have a clue how to, or if I can, allow comments. Not that anybody is reading this but me and a small group of friend's.

OK, since I posted the picture I figured out that the "comments" are an actual setting that I needed to activate, WHO KNEW?!! What a dumb bunny.
